The Lasting Change Fund Project was designed to strengthen the economic security of women and girls in Northern Sri Lanka, with a special focus on women-headed households.
Implemented by Chrysalis with funding from CARE Netherlands and the H&M Conscious Foundation, the project supported women to build sustainable livelihoods through enterprise development and job creation, enabling them to improve household incomes and long-term financial resilience.
The primary beneficiaries were women and girls from women-headed households in Northern Province, many of whom faced heightened economic vulnerability due to conflict and displacement.
This project was made possible through the generous support of our donors, whose contributions played a vital role in planning, implementation, and successful delivery. Their commitment to social impact and sustainable development helped drive meaningful change and ensured that the project objectives were achieved for the benefit of the communities involved.
