Support Communities to Ensure Food Security and Build Their Resilience (HF)

This humanitarian initiative responds to acute food insecurity experienced by vulnerable families across Sri Lanka. The project provides immediate food assistance while helping communities build the skills needed to withstand future crises.

Dry-ration packs are distributed to households facing hardship, with priority given to women-headed families, elderly caregivers, and families affected by conflict or disability. Alongside this relief, Chrysalis conducts community resilience and food security sessions that build knowledge on emergency preparedness, home gardening, resource management, and collective support systems.

This dual approach ensures families are supported now, while strengthening their ability to cope and recover in the future.
