WINGS - Flight Begins Here Empowers MSMEs Across Sri Lanka
WINGS: Flight Begins Here was a vibrant two-day cultural and entrepreneurial festival hosted by Chrysalis under FICE, funded by the SCOPE Programme. Designed as a celebration of Sri Lanka’s micro, small, and medium enterprises, the event brought together storytellers, artisans, musicians, and innovators from across the island. Through its diversity market, WINGS offered a platform for rural and emerging entrepreneurs, many of them women, to showcase their products and creative work to wider audiences. Visitors experienced live performances, craft exhibitions, community conversations, and networking opportunities that highlighted Sri Lanka’s cultural richness and economic potential. The event strengthened social cohesion by encouraging dialogue, cultural exchange, and collaboration among diverse communities. Ultimately, WINGS positioned itself as more than a market; it became a movement of shared identity, creativity, and inclusive growth.
