Collaborative Action for Climate and Disaster Risk Financing in Sri Lanka
Building resilience requires collaboration and shared action. On 3 July 2026, Chrysalis successfully convened the second dialogue session on Climate and Disaster Risk Financing and Insurance (CDRFI) with the Multi-Actor Partnership (MAP) in Matale. The session brought together the Additional Government Agent and key stakeholders, whose active participation strengthened the dialogue and reinforced institutional commitment.
Following productive discussions in both Badulla and Matale, participants identified practical recommendations and actionable priorities to strengthen CDRFI. These insights highlight opportunities for Chrysalis and Co-Impact to collaborate with stakeholders in driving systemic change through quarterly MAP meetings supported by expert-led discussions.
The recommendations and agreed action points will be shared with the relevant stakeholders to support continued collaboration and implementation. As these partnerships continue to grow, so too does our collective capacity to strengthen resilience and create lasting, systemic change through collaboration, shared expertise, and sustained action.
