The Launch of REDEFINE Project
On 20 February 2025, Chrysalis officially launched the REDEFINE Project, funded by the European Union. This three-year initiative aims to strengthen the crisis-preparedness of women- and youth-led civil society organisations, particularly in conflict and climate-vulnerable districts of Sri Lanka and the Maldives.
The event was held in Malé, with participation from EU representatives, local councils, CSOs and key stakeholders. Chrysalis CEO Ashika Gunasena highlighted the project’s goal of building multi-actor platforms for sustainable peace, climate resilience and local governance.
